Zitzi Active G2

Active G2 is a seat with a specially designed backrest and seat that provides the user with a unique sitting position. It is developed for all children, teenagers and adults who need secure upright sitting during activities or tasks, such as in office or school.

Active features an integrated abductor that positions the pelvis to prevent it from tipping backward and counteracts forward sliding. The forward-tilted sitting position enhances the patient’s balance and postural control.

The chair can be easily adjusted from an active sitting position to a resting position. In the forward-tilted position, the user adopts a so-called "rider’s position" (locked sitting), which encourages an upright body posture and makes it harder to slump. By tilting the chair backward, a resting position is achieved without the need to move the patient out of the chair.

The chair's design allows for built-in dynamics, which is beneficial for patients with reduced muscle strength and/or spasticity, providing children and adolescents with better seating where a traditional work chair may not be sufficient.
