History

Everything started with Bo Eriksson who (founder of Anatomic Sitt AB 1988) early in his career had a dream. Finding a "sitting" who gave our disabled balance in and for the body and also to reduce and prevent the continued development of scoliosis, kyphosis and other defects. To "hold" hips so that they do not subluxate or luxuriate and to avoid contractures in the hips, legs, knees, feet, arms and shoulders.

Getting a better sitting through positioning also help the disabled to a better lung function and blood circulation. A better sitting can remove unnecessary pain for the user, which then has a greater opportunity for movement and control, not least for the head. All in all, one can also create a better communication for the user.

Completely individually designed, the Anatomical seat enables a functional sitting position for the user. This solution is often the only option for users with difficult sitting problems. For these people, the choice of support and relief is crucial if the sitting is to work.
